Iconic singer Mariah Carey is going to Las Vegas.
The ‘Elusive Chanteuse’, stopped by The Ellen Show and announced that she will be taking up her first official Las Vegas residency at Caesar’s Palace later this year. She said, “Hopefully other people will enjoy this. I’ve never done this before.”
Mariah explained that her inspiration for her residency was inspired by her Number 1s album released in 1998, featuring 13 of her No1s such ‘Always Be My Baby,’ ‘Hero,’ and ‘Vision of Love’ “This is now the updated version with 18 of them,” she added on.
The star’s deal is said to be worth over $30 million as she joins the likes of Britney Spears and Celine Dion who have all enjoyed great support during their stints there.
Show dates are set for early May.
