FLYING FISH LAUNCHES “#ADDSOMEFLAVOUR NETWORK” FEATURING MZANSI’S FLYEST

South Africa’s first Premium Flavoured beer, Flying Fish, the beer that brews the bitterness out and flavour in presents #AddSomeFlavour Network platform, a fly network of people who know how to add flavour to the expected. The network was launched on the 7th of May through an Immersive Experience dazzling fans of the brand by taking them to a secret location in Magaliesburg where they enjoyed an afternoon of great food, design music and art.

 

Hosted by Port Elizabeth’s own queen of swag, Luthando Shosha, better known as LootLove, and supported on the decks by DJ Doowap, DJ Switch and DJ Roger Goode, the event lived up to all the buzz that had already been created on social media as party revelers enjoyed a Flavourfontrain experience which took them to the location in traditional steam train.

LootLove showcased a limited edition fashion range, inspired by hip street – wear designer and retailer DOPE Stores. Titled “Trust Your Dope” the collection was inspired by DOPE’s signature tennis racket logo. “My collaboration with Dope Store was a dream come true as I have always wanted to influence fashion by adding my unique style, big ups to the Flying Fish Flavour Network for making this possible,” said Luthando ‘Lootlove’ Shosha.

_BBB6926Other collaborations showcased on the afternoon included:

  • Hip Hop’s DJ Switch who partnered with celebrity photographer Ricardo Marcus Knipe for the reveal of the cover sleeve artwork of a secret Summer project he is working on.
  • Award Winning Designer and Illustrator Lazi “Greiispaces” Mathebula, who worked closely with Khaya Bhubesii Sibiya from Punk and Ivy to create a luxury urban – traveller inspired capsule, of street wear Apparel with unique custom print illustrations.
  • A collab between Paul Ballen of Paul’s Home Made Ice Cream, who served a custom made ice cream called “The Taste Of Sound” inspired by DJ Doowap’s trap and base beats on the ones and two’s.

“The #AddSomeFlavour Immersive Experience was headlined by some of Jozi’s flyest creatives who came together, taking guests on a journey of flavour.
