Good Beer, Friends & Times At Castle Lager’s #Broville

The weekend was abuzz as scores of beer lovers and their mates came together at Castle Lager’s Broville festival to celebrate the ultimate bro’s weekend.  The brand hosted the mother of all parties in an effort of celebrating friendships and forming new ones along the way.

It was a star studded affair with some of mzansi’s celebrities in attendance including the likes of Muvhango’s Zweli Dube, Generations Nkuli Tshirumbula, SABC 1’s LootLove, Mzansi Magic’ The Queen’s Natasha Thahane and Uzalo’s Kay Sibiya to name a few.


“Broville was a major success and we are so proud of the fact that we could give our consumers and their friends a first of its kind experience. Castle Lager has always been about friendships and getting together to share the things that South Africans love most especially sport, a good braai, music and shooting the breeze with friends,” said Shawn Katz, Castle Lager Marketing Communications Manager.

Some of Mzansi’s major acts were on stage and part of the festivities including the likes of Nasty C, Riky Rick, Shekhinah Donnell, Aewon Wolf & Kyle Deutsch, Reason, Major League, Speedsta and PH.


Mzansi’s sports stars were also in attendance, both past and present, with whom Castle Lager has formed solid relationships these included the likes of Makhaya Ntini, Themba Bavuma, Damian De Allende, Lance Klusner, Bakkies Botha, Aaron Mokoena, Mark Williams, Herschelle Gibbs and Itumeleng Khune to name but a few.

Broville was hosted at Johannesburg’s Casalinga Farm with over 1000 consumers and celebrities taking part in a night of unstoppable celebrations.
