Steers Brings Lifestyle To The Varsity Cup 10 Finals

FNB Maties and FNB TUKS went head to head in a seat gripping finale as the last teams standing after 3 months of the FNB Varsity Cup presented by Steinhoff International tournament, which took place on the 17th of April 2017 at TUKS Stadium in Pretoria.

The match, was attended by prominent faces in the media, which included popular house duo, Twins on Decks, who were hosted by sponsors Steers in the their Chillzone. The dynamic duo, who have been part of Steers Twinning campaign along with Major League Djz, brought the house down as they entertained the crowds just before kickoff.

It has been a phenomenal experience collaborating with Steers and bringing forth that Twinning experience which encourages the spirit of excellence and winning that this tournament celebrates.” said the Twins on Decks.

Apart from the thrilling sportsmanship on the pitch that kept crowds entertained Steers amped up on their activities by hosting consumers in their Chillzone as well as activating their “build-your-burger” experience which has become a half time staple of the tournament allowing spectators to build life-size burgers.

“Steers thrives in celebrating great sportsmen and passionate supporters. This was our first time coming on board as a sponsor of the tournament and what an incredible ride it has been. We have had memorable experiences and we look forward to many more as we sponsor the tournament for the coming years.” said Steers Marketing Executive Adolf Fourie.

The finals saw FNB Tuks walk away with the coveted trophy after beating FNB Maties 28 – 21 at the 10th anniversary Varsity Cup finals.
